Four Points by Sheraton, Anaheim - A Diamond in the Rough

Updated: Nov 5, 2019

When it comes to value hotels within walking distance to the Disneyland Resort, The Four Points by Sheraton is a diamond in the rough.

Quick Facts about the Hotel

Check-in: 3pm Check-out: Noon

Parking fee: $16 Hotel Style: 5 Story Motel

The Four Points by Sheraton is a 5 story motel style resort that's about an 11 minute walk to the Disneyland Resort. It's nightly rate is surprisingly low for everything it offers. With some of the most friendly staff, one of the better pool areas and THE BEST BEDS, it's no wonder it is HANDS DOWN one of our favorite Good Neighbor Hotels! Keep reading or check out our video to find out why we gave the Four Points overall hotel rating of 4 out of 5.

"..it is HANDS DOWN one of our favorite Good Neighbor Hotels!"

Overall Experience: 3.5/5

When we walked into the Four Points by Sheraton in Anaheim we were surrounded by a lovely updated lobby area and helpful & friendly staff. This hotel has the best check in & check out times for the Disneyland area (check-in: 3pm/check-out: noon) which is fantastic. One unique highlight is the fantastic view of the Disneyland fireworks from the pool area.

To access our room we had to walk down a poorly lit un renovated corridor that gave us a bit of an uneasy feeling. That said, it's actually very secure for a motel style resort as you have to enter through the lobby to access the rooms. The Four Points is surrounded by busy freeways and the sound definitely resonated through all areas of the hotel. So we’re giving the overall experience a 3.5/5

Hotel Amenities: 4/5

The Four Points by Sheraton has some fantastic resort amenities. The pool area is large and has a great layout, however it could be improved with more lounge chairs, umbrellas and if the pool side bar/restaurant had been open during our stay. The fitness centre is a nice size and has a good variety of equipment. Both the pool & Fitness centre is open 24/7. The Tru Grits Restaurant felt like a nice, updated restaurant with a good variety of menu items.

While Food prices were reasonable, drink prices were a little on the expensive side. The restaurant offers a great breakfast buffet for a reasonable charge from 6:30 am to 10:00 am which we tried and it was a great quick & delicious breakfast. For more information check out our YouTube review video. The Pantry located in the lobby offered some great grab & go options. The gift shop had all of the basic essentials. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, there is a Starbucks and a Gas Station across the street. With all that in mind, we’re giving this category a 4/5.

ROOM: 4.25/5

The room was my favourite part of the hotel. They have the best beds in the Disneyland Resort area in my honest opinion. The rooms have been recently updated and are clean and modern looking. But there were a few things in the room that still haven’t been updated, like the sink, tub and floor tile in the bathroom. You can definitely hear the highway noise in the room but it was more of a white noise that drowned out the noises from other guests and the pool area. If noise is an issue for you, the hotel does provide ear plugs in the room. All in all, the room gets a 4.25/5. If you’re interested on how we got to this rating, check out our Full Room Tour & Review Video.

Value: 4/5

A quick search on your favourite hotel search engine will probably show you that the Four Points is one of the less expensive hotels in the Disneyland area. You won’t find a place this close to Disneyland that is this reasonably priced with the same quality of room & amenities!!! Even though it isn’t THE closest hotel, it gives you way more bang for your buck than many of the hotels with a slightly shorter walk. For me, I would gladly walk a few extra minutes for a comfortable bed, a nice pool area and a cheaper price. For that reason, I am giving it a 4.

Overall Hotel Rating: 4 (it was 3.9 but we rounded up)

That gives the Four Points an overall score of 3.9 but we’ll round up to an even 4/5 for good measure since the hotel found our lost tripod and kept it safe for us!

Hey suzmicamy!

Thanks so much for the compliment. I would definitely stay here if you were happy with your stay at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Inn but are looking for something a little closer to the parks. I'd be happy to go over some other recommendations with you if you'd like. Just email me at TheHonestHotelReview@gmail.com if you're interested (I don't charge anything, just want you to have the best trip possible).

Just let me know:

1. How many people you're travelling with

2. The dates you're looking at

3. Your nightly price goal

4. The top 3 things you're most looking for in a hotel (ie comfy bed, good pool, close to park, good for adults, good for kids,…
